shoulda had lighter fluidMy son who's only 14 decided he wanted a Zippo. Hopefully he doesn't become an pyro or a cigarette smoker but now that he owns it, it's funny how often it comes in handy. Truth be told, it was mostly the 4th of July. Fireworks being illegal in Illinois, I can only confirm we lit a bunch of punks and sparklers. But I digress...He likes to flick the thing open and closed and that has caused some of the brass to stay somewhat shinier where his fingers regularly come into contact for said flipping activities, which at 14 years old happens often enough Zippo may want to hire him for QC. He doesn't like this discoloration, but I could care less. It is brass and brass oxidizes so not much of a surprise for me. However, perhaps something you may want to consider, especially if someone is using it like a fidget spinner (Are those still a thing?). The dragon is pretty awesome looking. It's stamped so it is not just inked on.Love the finish and the design, but these divots on the hinge side do seem to be present in every brass model if that bothers you.This was my first Zippo and one thing I wasn’t aware of is the fuel only lasts a few days to a week at most before it completely evaporates, so make sure you have plenty extra on hand. Also I wouldn’t exactly call it “wind-proof” more like “breeze-proof”.Beyond that, it does what it needs to do and looks nice doing it. Just be sure to repack the wick before first-use and refill it often so you don’t burn the wick like I did.very niceI have the Great Wall of China lighter! It's a very shiny purple and green background with the wall and a dragon as the foreground. It looks amazing and it definitely has that sturdy Zippo quality. Not too much to say about a lighter as it only has one function, but I do enjoy it quite a lot as a whole!I also bought the flameless/gasless insert and that works with this lighter case with no issues.I'd recommend it, and Zippo will repair it for free at any time if it gets damaged. :) You'd have to ship it to their PA site though, as this cannot be done through Amazon as far as I am aware.Uncle collects Zippos. He really admired the one chosen above. The details were beautiful.I got the dragon one with the interlocking teeth and it was so cool, for the 5 months I had it until the glue on the top half of the lighter gave out. I glued it back on several times and it kept falling off before I just decided to get a plain zippo. Still remained functional though.I bought this as a gift for my father who is a smoker, however, within only a few weeks of owning it, the dragon top half (the piece glued to the lid) fell off which from looking at other reviews, this is pretty standard. I would avoid this Zippo lighter, it's really not up to the standard quality of Zippo.Zippo like to boast about their 'lifetime guarantee' which does apply to this lighter, however, you'll have to pay for it which sucks. This lighter now sits broken in a drawer which is a shame.It does look lovely, the design is great and looks wicked, it's just not worth buying unless you're a collector and will end up keeping it in a display unit where it cannot break.If you like the image and a cool shiny green dragon zippo or if your a collector of zippos this is great honestly the best zippo I’ve seen. Only downside is the actual lighter being a traditional zippo and not the new jet lighters they have made but can easily be replaced with one.**original review** Bought for my husbands birthday. I can’t grumble at all. Bought it with a zippo kit so he could use it right away**EDIT** I wouldnt recommend anyone to buy this lighter unless you are a collector and aren’t going to use it. I contacted the seller after only 6-8 weeks as the head had fallen off (like so many other complaints have stated). The seller sent me out a new one and I was more than happy, but now only 7 months after having the replacement lighter, the exact same thing has happened again.I suppose we would buy some solder and an iron to fix it ourselves but why should we have to?Shame as it’s a beautiful lighter.I don’t even smoke. I bought because I really liked the design /pattern. It’s actually beautiful !I AM A SMOKER AND HAVE SEVERAL ZIPPOS, THIS GOLD PLATED CHINESE DRAGON IS NOT FOR GENERAL USE. IT IS A GIFT AND IT IS TO BE KEPT AS MINT FOR AN INVESTMENT. IT IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFULL ZIPPOS I OWN.
